So this congresswoman certainly doesn't have her facts straight...but neither really does the guy defending Matthew, who says that he was in a "gay bar" and that he "died out there" on the fence that night. I'm glad he's so outraged, but this is just another example of the story being rewritten as time goes on.
Also an interesting example of how an alternate media (not mainstream) covers the story, I think.
AND this is an amazing find. An interview with Matthew a couple years before his death. I was totally blown away that this existed:
